A museum of Vintage & Classic Cars of India
It was a boring Sunday. My daughter was getting stressed due to study for her forthcoming board examination. Nothing goes inside her head. I searched the net, what is there in Ahmedabad we can visit and enjoy. Moreover, she could be stress free.
I could find one, at the opposite side of Ahmedabad - on the eastern side. It is a Vintage Car Museum. After a heavy breakfast, we decided to set out. We took the inner road instead of ring road. Most of the roads are BRTS in Ahmedabad. Being Sunday, it was a pleasure driving.
We crossed the whole city in 45 minutes and reached at the eastern periphery of the city. Once on the ring road, another 4 km north, we reached the location. The car parking was open between the trees & free. The parking itself is a beautiful picnic spot. Because of the dense canopies, it provides shades to the ground, to car precisely.
There are entry tickets for visit as well as for still camera. As we were carrying one camera, we bought one ticket for it. There is one tag for camera to be tied, else the security would ask for the same.
We entered the campus. It's huge and well maintained.
'Auto World' is a part of one the most important collections of Antique Vehicles - Cars, Motorcycles, Utility Vehicles, Buggies etc. Built by one family over the last century. It represents several of the greatest marquees of cars from all over the world, of all types and ages.

There are so many more cars that this space would be limited to capture them all. There are more than 100 cars, bikes are showcased. Amazing collection. One can take photographs of the vintage cars on procuring tickets for camera...
The location of the World Vintage Museum is in Ahmedabad outer ring road.
